Marketing Officer, Bernie Grant Arts Centre


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre as our new Marketing Officer and help shape the future of this extraordinary venue in Tottenham, North London,

Inspired by the vision of the late Bernie Grant MP and designed by Sir David Adjaye the Bernie Grant Arts Centre opened 10 years ago.  The purpose-built complex includes a 274 seat and fully equipped auditorium, multi-purpose studio spaces, a boutique cinema, a clustering of 20 enterprise units, and an award-winning café and bar. 

Working closely with and reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer is responsible for helping to promote the BGAC and its programme of performances, events, creative learning activities, business activities and services.

The post of Marketing Officer will help identify target markets and develop, design and deliver compelling marketing and promotional campaigns.  They will attract new visitors, and develop the organisation’s audience base and maximise income generation opportunities.

To succeed in this role you will have experience in arts marketing, ideally in a busy cross-art form venue.  We are looking for a driven individual who is skilled at developing content for websites, social media and print platforms.  The successful candidate will have experience in audience development and strong at building relationships with artists, customers and the community.

A strong individual, with vision and drive you will need to be a highly motivated, people-person with outstanding communication skills and a passion and commitment to celebrating cultural diversity in the arts.
