About DragonBird Theatre:

DragonBird Theatre deliver theatre and play to Early Years and their grown ups all over Bristol, Bath and the surrounding area.  It is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company which has grown from strength to strength since its founding in 2013. The company produces theatrical interactive shows which visit local community venues, regional theatres, schools, children centres, a hospice and events.

The role of Company Manager:

This is an exciting time for DragonBird. We have funding from the Arts Council, Bristol City Council, many new projects in the pipeline, artist collaborations being built and venues being organised. We are producing three new shows and working with an illustrator to create some picture books.


We are looking for someone who has the energy, enthusiasm and commitment to support the continued development of the organisation across all aspects of our work, with a focus on marketing and administration.

Reports to:

The role will report to the Artistic Director and will work closely with the Creative Producer and other project facilitators.

Hours + Pay:

The role is a fixed contract that will run from 1stJune 2018 – 1 December 2018 The start date can be negotiated for the right candidate.

The fee for the contract is £3,375 based on 12.5 hours per week. This is £562.50 per month, equivalent to £24,357 pro rata. This will be paid monthly upon receipt of an invoice.
