Description

The purpose of The Natural History Museum is to inspire a love of our natural world and unlock answers to the big issues facing humanity and the planet. With species and ecosystems being destroyed faster than we can describe, our mission has never been more important or urgent. In response, the Museum is setting out to become a natural history museum for the future and to transform its impact on society. Key to that success is building a network of passionate support and donations to enable our work.

The new role of Associate Head, Philanthropy, will take the lead on the major donors remit of the team, whilst supporting up to three staff members to deliver excellent account management and develop new business across Trusts, Major Donors, Patrons and Legators. Bringing with you seasoned experience in generating six and seven figure gifts from philanthropic donors, the post-holder will be expected to drive forward the business of fundraising whilst leading and managing a team set for success.

If you have a passion for the natural world and want to be involved in solutions to preserve and save our environment, whilst working for a world leading institution, then we would welcome your application.
