Freshwater Theatre Company is seeking an exceptionally organised, diligent and reliable part-time Administrative Assistant to join our busy team based in East London.

This role provides vital administrative support for 3 days a week, helping to maintain smooth running of the Freshwater office and supporting company expansion and growth.

The post holder will act as a main point of contact for school enquiries via phone and email in order to schedule and coordinate a highly complex bookings diary, alongside tasks such as filing, data entry, post collection and stationery ordering.

They will thrive in a hard-working and fast-paced environment, taking pride in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring that all administrative processes are maintained and tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and to deadline. They will have a cheerful and positive outlook and be able to apply themselves to a range of administrative duties including some more repetitive tasks. They will work well as part of a small, close-knit team but will also be able to work independently without supervision, using their initiative and problem-solving creatively.

They may also be asked to assist with additional tasks as required by Company Directors/Management.

Freshwater Theatre Company was established in 1996 and is one of the most respected and renowned drama-in-education companies in the UK. Delivering drama and arts workshops to support most areas of the primary curriculum, the company works with over 150,000 children each year, providing creative and enriching learning opportunities.

Post is 3 days per week. The salary is £19,000 pro rata.
