Enthusiastic and supportive people needed to help with inclusive theatre sessions for young people from all backgrounds and of all abilities.
Angel Shed is an inclusive theatre company that has been delivering high-quality workshops and productions for all children and young people in Islington for the past decade. Angel Shed’s vision is that every child, regardless of ability or background be given the opportunity to participate in the performing arts. As a fully inclusive theatre, all our workshops have a 1:2 ratio of practitioner to participant, enabling every child, whatever their ability, to be fully supported to achieve their very best.
Our practitioners play a vital role in the space, supporting and performing alongside the children. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to develop facilitation skills in a supportive, arts-based environment. There is always the opportunity to do more with Angel Shed, from leading more within the session to supporting with tech backstage or administration in the office. Our aim is to support our volunteers as much as we do the children and young people. We offer specific training tailored to each group’s interest and signpost external job opportunities. We can also help you with applications.
