SJT Creation Studios Freelance Pastoral Staff, Stephen Joseph Theatre


The SJT are launching an exciting new after schools' club: SJT Creation Studios.  The clubs will run from Sept 18 - July 19 across 9 local primary schools in the area (Whitby, Scarborough and Filey).  We are looking for freelance Pastoral Staff to join us in delivering and excellent and varied programme of arts to the young people of our local community.  In your role you will support the Artist Practitioner in the delivery of sessions, along with adult and young people volunteers.  Each session will run from 3.15 - 5.15pm over three evenings a week.  You could commit to one or all three evenings depending on your availabilty.

Personal Attributes: Enjoy working with children and young people, have an interest in the arts/drama/dance/music based activities, happy to work with volunteers, good communication and organisation skills, good at working as part of a team, committed to raising aspirations within the community and for young people in particular.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to facilitate a workshop session (20-30 mins) followed by an informal conversation (20 - 30 mins).
