A local business forum in Hammersmith and Fulham is looking for a creative facilitator with a background and skills in theatre and/or creative writing who is interested in helping local businesses realise their possibilities. They will work with businesses, such as Westfield and QPR, from the Shepherd’s Bush Business Forum, to find the best ways to engage local businesses, in a creative and fun manner, in order to fulfil the objectives of the Forum.
Some objectives of the Forum include:
-To help identify needs and generate solutions that benefit the economic health and well-being of the town centre.
-To share information, recommend changes and influence service delivery by town centre agencies in response to the needs of businesses and town centre users.
-To deliver projects for maximum impact within an agreed and realistic Business Plan
About the Shepherds Bush Business Forum:
The Forum takes place every two months and aims to serve as a forum for business stakeholders in Shepherds Bush Town Centre who share economic and regeneration goals for the town centre. The Forum is comprised of at least 15 members and is open to commercial and non commercial organisations active in the town centre as well as senior officers from the LBHF council and other council members.
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualities:
-Experience of delivering projects with different groups of people, which use theatre and/ or creative writing skills to enable participants to explore, problem solve and express their ideas.
-Experience and interest in taking an interdisciplinary approach which values creative thinking and ideas
-Initial availability for one session (2/3 hours) with possibility of extending to more sessions.
The successful candidate will be offered a contract on a freelance basis and will be required to start their role on the afternoon of Tuesday, 4 August 2018.
