Volunteer Photographer, FILL Festival

Volunteer Photographers for FILL - Sat 27th & Sun 28th October, Coronet Theatre, Notting Hill, London.

FILL is an independent festival of literature and ideas envisioned by the Italian community based in London. It is an event inspired by Italian culture whose aim is to provide a space for discussion and cultural exchange between the Italian, the British and the numerous other international communities in London. Have a look at the website to find out more:

The first edition in 2017 has involved  41 speakers: Italian, British and international authors from different backgrounds; established writers and emerging ones willing to discuss literature and contemporary issues. The 2018 edition is even more ambitious with 15 events, over 40 speakers and performers, an impressive line-up of award-winning voices and new talent.

But ambition needs support and for this we need your help! It wouldn’t be possible to run this weekend without the help of our volunteers.

We are looking for 3 volunteer photographers who can:

  • Take professional pictures during the festival (panels + guests + document moments of social interaction)

  • Are interested in a literary festival and want to be part of an exciting festival at its second edition

A brief will be provided with some guidelines to follow before the events. Photographers should bring their own equipment and can come and visit the venue to assess lighting conditions.

Each photographer will cover a number of panels (to be decided together with the FILL team prior the events) and will be given some complimentary tickets to other events depending on availability and prior internal scheduling.

Travel expenses and meals are covered by the festival.

This position would ideally suit:

  • A student / start up photographer looking to build their portfolio/experience

  • An experienced photographer looking for a volunteering opportunity

If you want further information or to apply as a volunteer please send a portfolio with some selected images to adding “Volunteer Photographer” in the object.
