We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable National Loans Coordinator with at least two years’ experience of loans administration and database management, and a practical understanding of collection management.
The postholder will be a crucial member of the charity’s Loans Team. Working closely with the Head of Collection, Loans & Programming, you will supervise the delivery of the charity’s Loans Programme in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as lead on the development of the charity’s Salesforce database and the ongoing training of its users. You will supervise Loans Coordinators and volunteers, providing guidance and advice for managing loans, loan partnerships and collection care.
Your significant experience, knowledge and skills plus your track record of achieving targets will help the charity in the next stage of our development. You’ll have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst being flexible and providing creative solutions to problems. As the National Loans Coordinator, you will prepare and send all loan agreements and related invoices, ensuring they are signed and paid. You will be responsible for all the logistical elements of loan delivery including organising transport and installation of artworks at a variety of health and social care sites. In addition, you will coordinate the completion of audits of the collection on loan at partner sites and condition checks of artworks returning from loan.
