The Community Brain is recruiting for a Project Manager to join a dynamic and enterprising team in order to deliver its latest project, SHEDx. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an innovative and well-supported community-led regeneration project which is hoped to leave a lasting legacy for the communities of Tolworth. Applicants should have strong project management and communication skills, and a passion to work creatively with communities to enable them to deliver small local change which has big impacts.
The Community Brain is a community interest company that aims to develop community cohesion through the widest possible range of arts, education and local history, injecting renewed importance and pride into people and place.
SHEDx is a GLA-funded and Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames-supported project that encompasses a range of activities designed to activate, energise and engage the local community of Tolworth into taking ownership of the area’s unused and green spaces, helping to define and improve the future of their town.
The Community Brain seeks a practical, proactive and personable Project Manager to develop and deliver the project plan for SHEDx, working with stakeholders and the local community to create something truly impressive and effective. Managing two Project Co-ordinators and a team of volunteers, the successful applicant will coach, manage and stimulate individuals to achieve our and their own objectives.
Applicants will be subject to and must be able to pass a DBS check.
