Collections Administrator and Access Coordinator, Science Museum Group (Science Museum - Blythe House)

Do you have experience managing complex logistical arrangements in an office environment?

This role provides an exciting opportunity to support the Collections Services Team at Blythe House where you’ll co-ordinate logistics for the object handling and movement team to enable them to deliver the Science Museum business plan and cultural programme efficiently and effectively. This involves support to managers through contract management of all the lease vehicles run by Collections Services.  

You will co-ordinate all research visits to the storage facilities and supervise visits providing safe access to the site and collections. Access to Blythe House for researchers will be restricted from Spring 2019, and at this point the role will focus on co-ordinating internal access to the building for Science Museum staff.

It is essential you have excellent organisation and administration skills and are capable of balancing multiple tasks to create accurate and effective schedules by careful planning and prioritising. An excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively, you will possess strong interpersonal skills to work with a range of individuals and teams from different backgrounds and be a great ambassador to the museum.
