Under the leadership of Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster, Curve is going through an unprecedented period of growth. As part of this development, we have an ongoing commitment to working with our communities and keen to discover innovative ways to engage with them. We have a particular focus on working with young people and life-long learning.
We are seeking an inspirational and visionary Youth and Community Practitioner who is excited by the vision of the theatre and wants to join our Artistic team. They will help support the vision of our thriving Curve Young Company programme and play a key role in delivering our developing community and life-long learning strategy.
We are looking for applicants with excellent communication skills who have experience as a theatre practitioner creating, facilitating and directing live performance projects across a range of genres and with diverse participants. They will be committed to access and supporting community groups and young people in participating within creative programmes, and will be comfortable taking the lead in administrating projects where necessary. In addition, they will have an understanding of delivering work in schools, with knowledge of current curriculum frameworks.
