Bookkeeper & Team Assistant
Full Time, permanent role – Starting asap – £21,000 p.a.  

 
Wiltshire Music Centre is offering a fantastic opportunity to join its small and vibrant team as Bookkeeper & Team Assistant. This is a full-time role at the very heart of the organisation providing both bookkeeping support to the Finance Manager (1 to 2 days a week) and high-level administrative support to the Board and senior management team (3 to 4 days a week). This is a new role created to enable the ambitious strategic plan the organisation is embarking on following a successful 20th Anniversary year. 

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Bookkeeper & Team Assistant contributes to the delivery of a wide range of financial / accounting processes. In addition to this, under the supervision of the Chief Executive, the Bookkeeper & Team Assistant provides diary, meetings and communication management support, confidently engaging with the whole WMC team, as well as Board administration support as required. 

This post requires someone with prior bookkeeping experience, excellent organisational and administration skills, a confident and personable communication style (in person, over the phone and via email), the ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and forward plan in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The role also requires a level of discretion and confidentiality as it deals with a range of information. 

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of finance functions while having insight into and contributing to a growing first-rate arts organisation.
