Volunteer Guides & Stewards, Emery Walker Trust


Emery Walker’s House is an atmospheric time capsule packed with Arts & Crafts treasures. These include one of the largest collections of hand blocked Morris & Co. wallpapers in situ in the world and an outstanding range of textiles and embroideries. Sir Emery Walker was an eminent typographer, photographer, printer and antiquarian. His former home is a testament to his close friendships with some of the most influential artists and craftsmen of the day and his travels and interest in collecting objects from around the world.

The Emery Walker Trust is currently seeking new volunteer tour guides & stewards to join their friendly team.

Public tours are led by volunteer guides and stewards every Thursday and Saturday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (March through November). Private tours take place on an ad-hoc basis on other days of the week. This role also involves checking tickets and processing shop purchases.
