Sessional Youth Support Worker, The Albany

Based in Deptford, London, the Albany is a pioneering, multi-use performing arts venue with a strong focus on working with diverse communities.

In the last five years the Albany Youth Programme has supported 5,000 young people to take part in 1,800 courses, enabled 200 to achieve Arts Awards and provided 100 placement and employment opportunities. We work in partnership with Lewisham Homes and Youth First in youth centres across the borough to reach right into the core of our local communities. Young people then work alongside us to make extraordinary and provocative theatre, dance and music performance which is embedded in our professional programme.

This role will be key to the development and delivery of a diverse, inclusive and artistically high quality Young People’s Programme at the Albany.  You will work directly with young people to build their confidence, support them to connect with their peers and develop skills.
