Timespan is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Little Bug Club Curator to research, develop, and produce our new Little Bug Club, which will provide opportunities for families and children to develop positively through informal education, outdoor, cultural and recreational activities. The Little Bug Club should offer an extensive range of activities including outdoor learning, screenings, creative writing and storytelling, arts and crafts, political and cultural education, healthy cooking and growing and hacking technology.
We’re looking for someone who can inspire young minds, and engage the local kids with big issues in a fun way through ideas that circumscribe local heritage and contemporary art.
With generous support from Aspiring Communities Fund and The Robertson Trust, the position is funded for 15 months initially with plans to fundraise to continue the post for 36 months.
Salary: £24,000 fte per annum
Hours: 2 days per week (16 hours flexible)
Contract: Fixed term - 15 months (May 2019 - August 2020)
