Freshwater Theatre Company is seeking experienced and passionate drama workshop leaders based in London. The company has been offering primary and nursery schools high quality, affordable and engaging drama opportunities to support the curriculum since 1996.
We are looking to recruit versatile practitioners with considerable experience of single-handedly organising and leading large groups of school children, aged from 3 to 11, to facilitate workshop sessions involving role-play, storytelling, drama games and music based on the curriculum.
We are also interested in facilitators for our two-person history show team. You will require the same skills in workshop leading and must also be over 25, hold a full clean driving licence, be confident driving a small van, be based in or close to Hackney, be a character performer and have experience of performing to and working with large groups of 100+ primary aged children.
All applicants should have an Enhanced DBS check or be prepared to undergo and pay for a DBS check before they can commence work.
Auditions will be held in East London on Monday 20th May 2019. Please only apply if you are available on that date and if you are very confident of being available for flexible work in London in the Autumn Term and beyond.
