St Paul’s Juniors, founded in 1881, is the preparatory school for St Paul’s. It adjoins St Paul’s School, and shares many facilities with the senior school, including the dining hall, sports complex, technology workshops and playing fields. The schools are fortunate to have an attractive 45-acre site adjacent to the River Thames.
Fixed term contract 27 August 2019 - 26 August 2020
We are seeking an enthusiastic Drama Assistant to join our busy and thriving Drama Department for the academic year 2019/2020. The role will include assisting with all curriculum drama lessons, with the possibility of some teaching work, as well as planning and delivering high quality workshops for our Youth Theatre. The Drama Assistant will support all Junior Drama productions and events through costume design, production/stage management and set construction.
The successful candidate will have a real interest in drama and theatre for young people, and will take the lead on directing our Year 3 and 4 productions in the Summer term. Some experience working with young people in a theatre environment is essential.
Salary: £15,000 per annum, which includes holiday pay.
This is a part-time post, to be worked 30 hours per week during term time, plus 4 weeks of holiday work.
