Development Administrator - Programmes and Public Sector, Tate


The Tate Development Office was founded in 1990 and is now one of the most successful arts fundraising teams in the UK. 

As part of a wider Development department the Major Gifts team is responsible for securing major gifts and grants from individuals, trusts, foundations and public funding sources, in support of Tate’s activity. The Programmes and Public Sector team sits within a wider Major Gifts team and is responsible for raising funds towards exhibitions, conservation, learning, archive and special projects. 

Keen to start a career in fundraising, and with administrative experience gained in a fast paced environment, you will support the Programmes and Public Sector team in all areas of administration to promote their work and strategy, and assist in raising funds for Tate’s activities. 

You will have a proven track record of handling multiple projects at one time and calmly working under pressure to meet ambitious deadlines. With an excellent eye for detail you will enjoy working with large amounts of data and databases to support delivery of large-scale projects. 

Utilising your strong written and verbal communication skills you will help deliver the highest standard of donor stewardship by supporting the team in their regular correspondence and communications. Your impeccable interpersonal and organisational skills will help ensure that Tate strengthens and broadens its relationships with individuals and organisations.
