We have an exciting opportunity for someone to play a key role in the programming of the UK’s home of cinema, BFI Southbank. Internationally recognised as one of the world’s leading cinematheque’s, BFI Southbank is the UK’s leading repertory cinema. It presents a programme of expertly curated seasons of classic, independent and foreign language films and television.
Working within the venue’s programming team, you will programme seasons and events that excite and inspire new and existing audiences. You will be passionate about the history of cinema and engaged with the contemporary film landscape, including its discourses and debates. You will have significant experience working in film and events programming and of working within the arts sector. You will also have proven negotiation and communication skills and the ability to conceive of programmes that are both culturally relevant and commercially successful.
