LU Arts is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated Brass Tutor to deliver one-to-one extra-curricular tuition to Loughborough University staff and students. The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher in a variety of brass instruments and will be able to teach pupils of all abilities. Depending on uptake, we envisage between 2-3 hours of tuition per week. The tutor must have a regular time (day or early evening) when they would be available to deliver lessons throughout the academic year. We appreciate that coming in for odd hours here and there is not possible so would ensure it would be possible to deliver all teaching in one slot. Tuition will take place in one of the University’s music practice spaces, located on campus.

The job is hourly paid at £30.52 (incl. holiday pay). Administrative tasks are handled to the greatest possible extent by LU Arts.

To apply, please send a cover letter introducing your suitability for the post and a CV to David Bell ( by 5pm on Tuesday 27th August. Please title the email ‘Application: Guitar Tutor’. Any enquiries may be sent to Nick Slater –
