One of the key functions who will deliver on this is Health and Safety, and we are now looking for a permanent H&S Advisor to support and advise our colleagues across our Northern Museums. 

In this role, you will advise, support and influence various teams across the Group, with a specific focus on our sites in York, Manchester, Bradford and Shildon. You’ll complete internal audits, review and develop procedures to support with continuous improvements. You’ll work with various teams across the Group to promote awareness and company-wide understanding of health and safety and fire regulations and best-practice. This is a varied role and offers a great opportunity to influence how we approach health and safety.

Joining us, you’ll have strong knowledge of key regulations, for example around safe boiler operations, legionella and asbestos management, etc.  You’ll have experience completing H&S audits, investigations, providing guidance and developing procedures. Working with contractors, internal and external stakeholders, and with visitors, you’ll need to be a confident communicator and relationship-builder.
