Stage Door Receptionist, Stoke-on-Trent Theatres Ltd


We are looking for a confident, friendly and proactive person to join our Stage Door team!

We are looking for an individual to join our Stage Door Reception team at an exciting time as we continue to maintain our reputation for providing world class theatre. This season we welcome productions of Madagascar, The Exorcist and The Woman in Black, but the magic doesn’t begin and end on the stage. Our Reception team are instrumental in providing our cast, crew and customers with exceptional service and a friendly welcome. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service and you have experience working in a receptionist role we would love to hear from you!

Main Purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and flexible person to join our Stage Door Reception team. The role involves working across our two venues providing information and direction to cast, crew and customers. You will be required to operate the phone system, answer email queries and liaise with all departments to ensure the smooth running of the venues and shows.  You will ensure that the presentation and cleanliness of the stage door areas are at the highest possible standard and take an active role in evacuation/health and safety procedures. 

Essential Qualities: 

We are looking for someone confident, friendly and proactive who is able to engage with a diverse range of people and adapt to varying situations. You must be able to keep calm under pressure and have a professional attitude at all times. 

Please note that the role will require availability for regular evening and weekend shifts.
