Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and recognised as one of the Sunday Times top-100 not for profit companies to work for in 2019, Scottish Ballet is Scotland’s national dance company with a mission to inspire on stage and beyond.
Based in Glasgow, the company regularly performs all over Scotland – from the biggest cities to remote communities, and increasingly throughout the UK and internationally. The company is known for working with ground-breaking choreographers and is dedicated to nurturing new talent. The company wants to bring the joy of dance to everyone regardless of age, ability or background.
The new Philanthropy Manager will ideally have a passion for the arts and a track record of securing gifts from individuals and working to financial targets. The successful candidate will initially take a leading role in developing relationships with a portfolio of prospects and existing donors to generate income towards the Five in Five Campaign, enabling the production of five new narrative ballets within five years.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious development professional to join a thriving national dance company as it marks a major milestone in its history and looks to increase its ambitions for the future.
