Female Performer and Puppeteer, Paper Balloon

Description

We create original, innovative theatre for young people and families. Our work fuses physical theatre, movement, live music and puppetry.

Dates:

Rehearsals (London): 2nd-6th December,

Production Week (Folkestone): 10th-12th December,

Performances (Folkestone): 13th-24th December 

Role:

Darya is a Spriteologist. She is top of the class; an expert scientist, a stickler for the rules and a dedicated mystery-uncoverer. She has been called in, alongside her Royal Spriteological Society partner to solve the Mystery of the Vanished Girl.

Playing age 25-35

Performers need to be physically fit and required to assist with get in/out.

Skills:

-       Strong singer

-       Skilled Puppeteer: with shadow puppetry preferable

-       Physical theatre/movement

-       Good collaborator

-       Sense of play

-       Improvisational ability 

Fee:

£1,880

Accommodation/travel provided in Folkestone but not for rehearsals in London.

Audition Details:

Friday 27th September, 

10am – 1.30pm

Workshop audition followed by informal interview. Unfortunately we are unable to cover travel expenses.
