Candoco is made by the people we work with – our staff, our dancers and our artists; and we are thrilled that you are interested in joining our team. We want to work with people with different experiences, skills and stories, as this is how we continue to learn, grow and thrive. We recognise the lack of representation with regards to race, ethnicity and disability in the arts and strive to be part of the solution, not the problem. We strongly welcome applications from those with lived experience of disability and guarantee an interview to applicants identifying as D/deaf or disabled that meet the essential criteria in the person specification. We are open to proposals of how this role might be fulfilled if the proposed structure presents barriers to any applicant. For us; the most important thing is to understand how you want to make a positive impact on our team and help us expand perceptions of what dance can be, and who can do it.
