Digital Marketing Lead, Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI)


This is a remarkable opportunity to play a key role in driving the success of two of the TVF Media Group’s divisions ahead of the launch of two major digital services in 2020. We are launching these global video subscription platforms in the next six months with our major competitors being Netflix, the BBC and TED. The details of our platforms are commercially sensitive and will only be made available to interviewees.

We are looking to appoint a Digital Marketing Lead who can help ensure that we make these platforms a commercial success having global reach and impact.

The first platform is in our Arts division - the Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI) – which is the organisation behind, a global service for ideas from the world’s leading thinkers that Total Politics described as ‘Europe’s Answer to TED’. The second is with TVF International – the world’s leading provider of independent documentaries and factual entertainment.

All candidates will need to be able to demonstrate flair for publicity and experience of driving traffic across all forms of marketing. They will also need to show the commercial awareness and drive needed to maximise the profitability of the commercial funnel of the websites. The ideal candidate will have experience managing digital platforms: driving growth, maintaining engagement and maximising profit. They will have a minimum of four years’ experience in senior digital marketing roles, ideally in the cultural space.

As well as having the appropriate level of experience required to make an international success of two start-up style digital platforms, you will be required to demonstrate leadership skills, strategic thinking and editorial flair. All applicants should have a minimum of four years’ experience in senior digital roles and have a strong academic background, with a minimum of a 2:1 from a leading university.
