Wise Children is a new theatre company, created and led by award-winning director Emma Rice. We are an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation, currently based in Bristol. We make ground-breaking work with exceptional artists which tours the UK and internationally, and we run a unique professional development programme, the School for Wise Children, training a new and more diverse generation of theatre practitioners.
We are seeking a highly organised and strategically minded General Manager to oversee the successful running of the company’s busy production office and the wider operations of the organisation.
Wise Children’s General Manager is the motor that keeps the organisation running. Based in the company’s office in Bristol, they will oversee all administrative systems and ensure that policies and practices are in place and operating effectively. The office is their domain, and they will be responsible for making sure that the Wise Children base is a warm, welcoming and highly functioning place to be.
Salary: £26 – 32K, dependent on experience.
Based: Wise Children’s office, Spike Island, Bristol
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, 10am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
