Pelican Music was started with one vision - to create a music school where children with a passion could study music seriously, learning from London's brightest playing and teaching talent and expressing themselves through performance.

We partner with local primary schools to offer high quality tuition, both in and out of school and strongly believe in encouragement through ensemble playing and performance. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team in the office as we continue to expand, and is excited about joining a young but growing company.

Position: Office Administrator

9.00 - 3.00 within academic term time (37 weeks per annum)

Job description

The daily administration of Pelican Music Customer Service.

Setting up and maintaining good communications with schools and parents alike. 

Communicating with teachers, and supporting section leads. 

Primary responsibilities:

  •  Managing calls and enquiries via phone

  •  Maintaining Student Database

  •  Signing up new students

  •  Maintaining the Pelican Music online presence

  •  Pelican Wide Communication

  •  Maintaining internal communications.

Person specification

An understanding and appreciation for music and it's education.

Experience in an administration, support or customer facing role.

Experience working within schools and families.

Excellent communication skills

Confident with computers.

IT skills:

  • google drive

  • sheets/excel

  • slack

  • helpscout

  • trello
