Performers wanted for immersive outdoor show, Time Won't Wait


Producing company Time Won’t Wait is looking for 3 x confident, flexible and sensitive performers for FeelPlay, Christopher’s new interactive and immersive outdoor show to be presented at Brighton International Festival and Greenwich and Docklands International Festival in summer 2020 (touring in 2021). The show will be a lot of fun, engaging adults in ‘play’ using games, song, movement, live and digital interactivity. 

We are looking to recruit a cast aged between 20 - 80 years old of a range of backgrounds and abilities. Actor training not necessary!! We are looking to recruit at least 1 cast member with a disability. This is an outdoor touring production which requires a robust, flexible and hands-on attitude. Actors may be asked to assist with the get-in and get-out of the show due to the small nature of the team. 

Essential skills and experience: 

● Experience of interactive or participatory performance 

● Strong improvisation skills 

● Singing, dancing or gameplaying skills 

● Confident communicating with all kinds of people in all kinds of places 

● Sensitive to the diverse needs of audiences 

● Sense of humour - fun and playful 

● Based in London, SE or SW UK. 


● Ability to speak another language 

● Ability to play a music instrument 

● An interest in socially engaged practice 

Essential Dates: Rehearsals 14th – 19th April, 18th – 24th May, 19th – 21st June. Please only apply if you can be 100% free on these dates

Fee: There will be an ITC contract paying industry standard rates, plus access support for performers with a disability.
