Front of House and Events Co-ordinator, Chequer Mead Theatre

Description

Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead hosts over 250 events per year both in the main auditorium and throughout the venue.

We are a currently looking to recruit a full time front of house and events co-ordinator (40hrs) to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the venue and offering our visitors a welcoming, professional and efficient service.

You will be responsible for the public areas and ensuring our customers receive a high quality service, often acting as the first point of contact. The post holder will also be one of a two-person team responsible for events booking and administration for the theatre and other spaces including our fully equipped dance studio. You will be customer services driven and extremely organised.

The successful candidate will be required to support the setup of the venue’s facilities including our meeting and rehearsal spaces and must therefore be capable of light manual work.

Additionally, the role requires the candidate to take on regular duty manager shifts (weekday evening & weekends).

Salary £20,000 - £23,000 depending upon experience.
