Would you like to make your mark on a multi award-winning charity at a time of ambitious development and growth? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Create’s senior management team in the important new role of Head of Communications.
The Head of Communications reports directly to the Chief Executive and works closely with the Communications Council, a group of communication experts from organisations including Bacardi, BrandPie, Contagious, KPMG and VCCP, who donate their time to support the charity. The Head of Communications line manages a Communications Assistant and works closely with the Development (fundraising) and Project teams. The successful candidate will bring extensive communications and PR experience and expertise. 2020 is an exciting year for Create as we prepare for our BBC Radio 4 Charity Appeal and put in place plans to double our reach by 2026 including a new hub in the North West. Create won the Children & Young People Now Young Carers award in 2019, the Charity Times PR Team of the Year award in 2015 and has been shortlisted four times in the last six years for the Charity Times Charity of the Year award.

Create would consider a 0.8 FTE contract for the right candidate.
SALARY £38k – £45k per annum (pro rata) dependent on experience.
