Lichfield Arts is an independent charitable organisation that promotes arts festivals, music concerts and other events playing a key role in the district’s arts scene. We are looking for a new Chair to lead the Board of Trustees in ensuring good governance and strategic direction for the organisation. This is an opportunity to have a positive impact on an established local arts charity.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts and enthusiasm to take a hands-on role in a successful community arts organisation. They will also need an understanding of the principles, ethics and practices of successful organisations.
We would welcome someone who could take on a leadership role, bring fresh ideas to Lichfield Arts and help us in our next stage of development. Whilst you do not have to have prior experience as a Chair, or a Charity Trustee you will need to demonstrate the skills and confidence to lead a community arts organisation.
Further information about the role can be found on our website and potential candidates are welcome to contact our current chair, Jeff Fowler or deputy chair, Phil Beale for an informal discussion about the role. They can be contacted by email to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
To apply, you should submit a CV and a covering letter outlining your relevant skills and experience and giving brief details on your reasons for applying and what you might bring to the role and the organisation.
Applications must be submitted via email to email@example.com
Please note the role of Chair, in common with the other Trustees is an unpaid voluntary role.
