Lead Artist (Shifting the Dial), Birmingham Repertory Theatre


The Lead Practitioner will deliver years two and three of the National Lottery funded ‘Lightpost’ group at The REP and in community settings, leading on unique theatrical creations with social and historical relevance as part of Birmingham’s ‘Shifting the Dial’ partnership to improve wellbeing outcomes and systems change for young black men aged 16-26. 

This is a role for a practitioner with strong overall creative project management and delivery experience, who will increase the reach of Lightpost by linking with education and community settings, bringing in new ambassadors, mentors and champions; empower participants, support resilience and work with project partner BSMHT and other statutory organisations.

Contract: Fixed term contract till end of August 2021.

Hours: Part-time (16hrs/2 days per week), we are happy to consider job share option as well.

Salary: £28,169 pro rata
