59 Productions is one of the world’s leading creative companies. Our Olivier and Tony Award-winning team of artists, architects, designers, writers, producers and technologists have helped create countless landmark cultural moments: the video design of the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the design and creative direction of the record-breaking David Bowie is exhibition, the concept design for the Met Ball, and the projection and animation design of the National Theatre smash hit War Horse to name a few.

From architectural projection-mapping to exhibition design, VR experiences to events, theatrical design to technical consultancy, 59’s output is diverse, but our commitment to better storytelling through design unifies everything we do.

59 is looking for a Project Director to help deliver high quality artistic projects over the coming years. We actively encourage people from a variety of backgrounds to apply for this role. We believe a diverse range of voices, experiences and skills will help to inform, enrich and develop our working practices.

 Overall purpose of the job:

To develop, define and communicate creative concepts to both internal teams and external partners. To lead project teams in the delivery of creative projects. To be the most senior artistic voice on a project team and to guide the project from start to finish, working as part of a triumvirate with the project’s producer and senior designer.
