Social Media Assistant for Comedy Artist Management Agencies, DLT Group


The primary objective of this role is to help increase the number of followers and the engagement of our clients and the group over all social media platforms. This will be done by advising clients on their social media output to best achieve this objective. For each agency, you’ll be expected to schedule posts supporting our clients’ creative output and create relationships with social platforms to help our clients understand the social media landscape.

We’re looking for someone who can develop and maintain a distinctive online voice which matches the individual client and agency; as well as being on the ball with current trending topics, joining in the conversation, and creating appropriate content.

The ideal applicant will be able to present data analytics for our client’s social reach to aid agents in finding work, explore ways to monetise talent’s content, and have the initiative to keep themselves well versed in best practices for social media output.

This is an exciting role in which you’ll have the opportunity to work on substantial social campaigns with some of the country’s top comedy talent, therefore this would suit a person who is fan of British comedy.

Clients have appeared on ‘Live At The Apollo’, ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’; in the case of a client participating in shows like this, you’ll be at the forefront of creating a campaign for people to vote and interact with the client.

Must Haves:

Prior experience with social media platforms

Working knowledge of current social media trends

Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative

Strong organisational, time management and attention to the finer detail

Day to Day tasks:

Preparing content to post on clients social media 

Liaising with clients to develop their social media strategy

Creating content plans for social accounts

Independently attending training courses to help develop your skills
