Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to get a great insight into how a major arts festival is run, gain useful skills and meet new people. Norfolk & Norwich Festival welcomes applications from all over-18s, with any (or no) level of experience.
The festival is probably best known for the Spiegeltent in Chapelfield Gardens, with its eclectic mix of cabaret, late night gigs, circus and of course the pop-up bar ran by the Bicycle Shop. There’s so much more that goes on as part of the festival than you might realise: talks and debates at the City of Literature weekend, workshops, visual art instillations and world class theatre productions. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and flexible volunteers who have some spare time in April and throughout May. Our volunteer programme is able to fit around you: you’ll only ever be expected to dedicate however many hours you feel able to, no matter how few.
Please see our website for more information on the roles available.
“I have been given roles that have challenged me and engaged me beyond what I expected to get out of the experience. That has taught me a lot and let me exercise skills in a unique environment I wouldn't normally get to work at, so thank you!” - NN19 Volunteer
