We are the Creative People & Places (CPP) programme for the boroughs of Corby and Wellingborough in Northamptonshire.
We are passionate about community-leadership, co-creation and engaging new audiences in excellent cultural activities that are relevant to both individuals and the wider community. Our programme includes a range of festivals, workshops, performances, exhibitions and ‘go and see’ trips, utilising the assets in our communities and drawing upon the hopes of local people.
We are at an exciting time in the development of our programme, as we both continue with our programme delivery in Corby and launch a new programme in Wellingborough. This new role will be at the forefront of this development and be instrumental to the creation and implementation of an exciting new programme in Wellingborough. They will be supported by an experienced team, who have been delivering the CPP in programme for over 6 years, successfully engaging new audiences through facilitating community-leadership and co-creation alongside developing relationships with exciting artists across all art forms.
Community Engagement Co-ordinator (Wellingborough)
37.5 hours per week
£23,000 per annum
The Community Engagement Coordinator will assist the staff team, and associated artists, freelance staff and community groups, on a range of projects in Wellingborough, including leading on engagement with the community in Wellingborough. You’ll be passionate about working alongside the local community to create exciting new cultural activities, have some experience of project management and working with the cultural sector and most importantly, be friendly and approachable.
