Head of Programmes, The Choir with No Name

Are you a music-loving, dynamic, get-stuff-done kind of person, who seizes opportunities to make the world a better place?  Do you feel strongly that we can transform our lives through music and through being part of a joyous community?

At the Choir with No Name we are looking for a Head of Programmes, to join the senior team, helping us to set future strategy delivering our choirs and singing projects for homeless and marginalised people across the UK, making sure that they all fulfil our core values of fun, family, collaboration and integrity.

As one of two senior managers reporting to the CEO, the Head of Programmes will need to be adaptable, resilient and a great people person.  You'll also need to be a skilled manager with the ability to see potential in people and projects, have the drive to innovate and develop our work, with top notch organisational skills to get the job done.

The Head of Programmes will also lead the programmes team to run rehearsals, gigs and workshops that make us proud.  You’ll also manage our partnerships effectively and ensure that we remain a well-respected, fun and inclusive organisation. And.. it would help if you love singing!

We are particularly welcoming applications from people with lived experience of homelessness, from BAME communities and candidates with disabilities, who are currently under-represented on our staff team.

This position is 22.5 hours per week and initially advertised as a six-month contract (likely to be made permanent after CV-19). Our office is based in London, although applicants from other locations will be considered.  Regular travel to London and around the UK will be required.  It will also involve some weekend and evening work.
