It's not every day you get chance to implement real change but as an Associate Head of School at Coventry University this is your moment to do just that. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to continue developing academically by leading a key activity at the university while acquiring further managerial skills along the way.

As well as offering a broad range of exciting courses across subjects such as history, politics and international relations, our School of Humanities embraces innovation and has an enviable record of delivering outstanding student experience. It is also one of our most active schools in terms of international mobility. In this role you will have specific responsibility for leading the development of staff research capability across the School and, with guidance from the Associate Dean Research (AD-R), you will work with the school’s staff who have achieved research centre associate status whilst overseeing the Aspire Scheme which supports staff working towards this. You will also work with research centres across the university and network globally to deliver new opportunities.

Coventry University provides opportunities for both career and personal development in the form of a tailored development programme. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes a generous holiday allowance and pension, as well as flexible working options. We will also consider assistance for those wishing to relocate to the Coventry area.

So, as we prepare for Coventry’s year as UK City of Culture, why not join us and make your mark?
