Marketing & Communications Officer, Making Music

Description

We are looking for a part-time (4 days per week) Marketing and Communications Officer to join our busy Marketing and Communications Team, supporting a range of activities with a particular focus on digital communication, promotion and engagement in support and growth of Making Music membership.

Making Music is the UK organisation for leisure-time music groups, with over 3,700 groups in membership, home to around 200,000 hobby musicians. We support members with practical services and artistic opportunities; we celebrate their achievements and speak on their behalf to partners and policy makers.

Are you experienced in digital content, marketing and social media? Creative, with initiative, and as comfortable with day-to-day processing of website edits and emails, as generating visuals and finding and writing up stories for multi-platform use? If you’re also a team-player, have great attention to detail, can juggle several tasks at the same time, and would like to find a job where your ideas are appreciated, then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for someone for 4 days (30 hours) a week, which can be worked flexibly. Salary £23,500k pro rata (£18,800 a year for 4dpw).
