Administrative Coordinator


MeWe360 is a black-led non-profit organisation that champions black, Asian and minority ethnic entrepreneurs in the arts and creative industries.  Our CEO is looking for a PA/ Coordinator to be responsible for administrative tasks and project coordination, with an aim to improve overall productivity.  This role will see you assist the organisation in a remote capacity with a range of support tasks, carrying out day-to-day administration and coordination, lead by the CEO, as well as undertake ad hoc project work.  The ideal candidate will be open-minded and flexible and thrive working remotely.  The role is predominantly remote and, as things progress, support with and at events will be required. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

These include but are not limited to:

Social Media Coordination

  • Proofreading and editing of CEO’s copy

  • Coordinating all social media platforms including extracting information from articles, daily news sweeps and promoting brand image and awareness

  • Carrying out desk and person-to-person research

  • Distributing content to MeWe stakeholders as required

Project / Event Coordination

  • Pre-event planning, e.g. researching event spaces, sending out invitations, compiling RSVP’s and guest lists etc.

  • Attending network events to ensure all runs smoothly

  • Overseeing the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently

  • Following up with any contacts as required


  • Diary and schedule coordination

  • Administrative tasks including ensuring forms or letters are signed and distributed within deadline, completing membership agreement logs, rudimentary research etc.

  • Note-taking at meetings

  • Responding to and sending emails on behalf of the CEO


  • Self-motivated, problem solver

  • Passionate about issues affecting the BAME community

  • Reliable and resourceful

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Solid prioritisation and time management skills

  • Experience within the arts preferable but not essential


  • Contract - Freelance 

  • Hours - Full time (to include some evening and weekend working)

  • Rate: £15 per hour

  • Remote worker, therefore access to Wi-Fi and a laptop required
