Dance Umbrella is seeking a new Head of Development to lead on and implement the organisation’s development strategy, encompassing all areas of fundraising. In this dynamic role, you will become a core member of our team, working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO and Executive Director.
About us: Dance Umbrella’s mission is to celebrate and energise 21st century choreography with artists from all over the world. We do this through an annual festival across the capital, creative learning opportunities, and developing choreographic talent. Our goal is to take dance out and bring audiences in. DU successfully delivered its 41st festival in October 2019, with Featured Artist Oona Doherty named No 1 in Guardian’s Best Dance Shows 2019. We presented 78 events across 22 sites – more than ever in our history – in over 13 boroughs.
Two-day per week permanent post. Salary level up to £44k pro rata (full time equivalent) dependent on experience. Freelance contracts will be considered.
