One year contract

Fee c. £10,000 (2 Days per week)

Wiltshire Arts Promoters is a representative group of professional arts organisations in the county. Its objectives are to support strategic arts development in Wiltshire ; deliver a co-ordinated, collective and coherent voice for the arts in Wiltshire and to provide an action led forum leading to positive outcomes for the shared objectives of its members.

Wiltshire Arts Promoters seek a Freelance Development Manager with marketing and advocacy experience to implement the recently completed communications strategy and to continue to develop its activities supporting the arts in Wiltshire

• To implement the recently completed Communications Strategy to increase the profile of the arts in Wiltshire.
• To liaise with ACE SW, the Wiltshire and Swindon Arts Alliance and local authorities in Wiltshire in order to provide effective communication between the members of WAP and the arts funding system.

• To draw up briefs as required by WAP, in consultation with the Steering Group, for future activities and programmes, to seek funding for them and oversee their implementation.
• To provide general administration including organisation of regular meetings of WAP members, liaison with members, budgeting and managing finance.
