Description

Shindig, the rural and community touring scheme for Worcestershire seeks a freelance individual or organisation to run and develop its touring programme. Shindig was set up by a consortium of Local Authorities within Worcestershire in 2004. Since then it has been run by Sue Roberts from Artservice. Within that time Shindig has established itself as one of the leading touring schemes in the country with a reputation for high quality arts provision all at affordable prices. Shindig is a partnership project which has brought some of the leading theatre companies, dance groups and musicians from the UK and abroad to the towns and villages of Worcestershire. Sue is now retiring and we are now looking for a new co-ordindator to continue to run and develop the scheme.
