Description

To work in a freelance capacity at ALRA’s new campus in Wigan, Lancashire, from September 2010.

Systems and approaches considered (but not limited to) include: Laban, Lecoq, BMC, Litz Pisk, Lorna Marshall, Feldenkris, Yoga, Pilates, Contact Improvisation, Animal work and period movement/ choreography. Other methods are taught and applicants skilled in other areas are also welcome to apply.

Those with experience of teaching period dance, or BADC Qualifications in Stage Combat, are also encouraged to apply.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 21 June, and interviews (to be held in Wigan at ALRA North) are scheduled for Friday 23 July.

All tutors must be educated to a first degree or equivalent with a second degree in the area of specialisation. If they do not already hold one, tutors must be prepared to undertake a teaching certificate and to become a member of the IFL (Institute for Learning).
