We are looking for an Administrator to provide efficient and practical support to the Development Services and Events team; you will be focussing on database administration, ensuring that our supporters are acknowledged and providing a proactive and responsive administration service to a busy team.

The Development department manages fundraising at the RSC through grants from trusts and foundations, donations and major gifts from individuals, corporate sponsorships and the effective delivery of stakeholder events all contributing to achieving income targets of over £5 million annually.

You do not require any previous fundraising experience for this role, we are looking for someone that has good computer and administration skills, an interest in fundraising and the right attitude. The successful candidate will be provided with the training they need to develop their skills. Development at the RSC is a busy department so the ability to work to deadlines, remain calm under pressure and prioritise your workload will be essential.

This post is based in Stratford-upon-Avon and is offered as a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required when supporting at events. The role requires you to be in the Stratford-upon-Avon office for at least two days a week, with the remaining three days flexible between home and the office.

Our current Development Team is not representative of the communities we serve and who support us. We are committed to diversity, equality and inclusion and want to represent and amplify the voices of people currently underrepresented in our workforce. We welcome applications from all including, but not limited to ethnically diverse and/or those who identify as D/deaf and/or disabled candidates.

All applications should be made online using the RSC website, here is the link to more information If you need any assistance when applying, please email

We are committed to building a diverse workforce and welcome applications from all individuals.
