Project Coordinator, DiVA Apprenticeships

Description

We're on the hunt for an experienced Project Coordinator/Manager to lead on the delivery of our employment skills programme designed to help young people gain work in the entertainment sector.

Your day will vary from speaking to employers offering work placements, recruitment to delivering inductions to candidates who are starting their work placements and everything in between. Your passion for helping young people pursue careers they enjoy will lead you to extend invites to industry guests to come in and share their expertise with our interns. You'll be on hand to assist trainees in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations – providing ongoing support and guidance to interns and employers engaged in the work placements.

You are the kind of person who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done and enjoy being a big fish in a little pond. You are organised, a good administrator, you pick things up quickly, are comfortable posting on social media, approachable and like to have a laugh while you work.

Experience working in the creative industries and with young people is essential.  Formal qualifications are not necessary – more important is similar work experience, good written and verbal communication skills, common sense, the right attitude and work ethic and the ability to get the job done.

We're a small, close-knit team – a good sense of humour goes down well along with love for what we do. We are open to remote or a hybrid way of working (there's free parking if you get in early enough!).  Please talk to us at the interview about the flexibility you need. We can't promise to offer exactly what you want, but we promise not to judge you for asking.
