Start Date: April 2021

Artworks runs a thriving art and design outreach programme for Primary and Secondary Schools. Our audiences are mainly based in Calderdale and the surrounding area, although over the past year we have developed online Teach Meet programmes which have engaged teaching staff across the UK. At a time when arts subjects are chronically underfunded and under threat in our schools, we work to provide critical professional support to schools, teachers and students at primary and secondary level.

The Schools Programme Manager is responsible for the development and successful implementation of our outreach activities involving Primary, Secondary and external educational organisations,  working closely with the Artworks director team and artist educators. The role will include both remote and on-site working, depending on programming.
