Temporary Tour Booker / Outdoor Arts producer, Bureau Of Silly Ideas

The Bureau Of Silly Ideas (BOSI) is seeking a freelance outdoor arts producer or festival / tour booker to secure Christmas 2021 and Summer 2022 bookings for our BOSI Street Shows.

Our Street Shows are small to mid-scale interventions in public spaces. We regularly play across the country on/at High Streets, Arts Festivals, Music Festivals, Parks and Shopping Centres. Our repertoire provides ‘silly’ relief and personal one-on-one engagements with the absurd.

Your role will be to contact, speak with and secure bookings for our BOSI Street Shows.  BOSI has its own contact list, we would also welcome applicants who have their own networks and contacts. This is an opportunity for an aspiring outdoor arts producer / tour booker to learn about the work of BOSI and to also enhance their outdoor arts network / sector knowledge.

Fee: Up to £2,500 based on 16 days of work at £150 / day 

Place of work: Flexible working from home and / or from BOSI’s offices based in Brixton

Nature of Contract: Freelance part-time contract 

Start Date: Flexible, ideally starting during the first week of November 2021

End Date: Contract completed by March 31st 2022
